Trumpet Tune Nº1 (Organ Solo)

$6.00

I originally wrote Trumpet Tune in C for solo organ and later adapted it for organ and trumpet duet. The piece is light and sprightly. It hearkens back to the trumpet tunes of the Baroque and gives the soloist the chance to show off their technical skill with runs, leaps, and room for improvised ornamentation.

The first performance of the adaptation for organ and trumpet was at the Phi Mu Alpha ‘American Composer Recital’ at the University of Redlands with trumpeter Mark Perez.
